- How much does DCSquares cost?
DCSquares is free. If you enjoy playing DCSquares, please consider donating a few dollars by clicking on the paypal button on the left.
- What's a combo?
The combo is the number of consecutive squares you have collected. As soon as you miss a square, your combo goes back down to zero. - Why can't I pause?
The reason there is no pausing is that it would allow players to cheat. If you're about to hit a red square, you could hit pause and then move your mouse to a safe area, and then resume the game. We will reconsider this for the next release of DCSquares.
- I don't hear any music on Windows
You must install the Ogg Vorbis DirectShow codec before music will play on Windows. This codec is included with DCSquares, and should be installed by the Windows Installer.
- How do I get a username and password?
Click the "New Account" link on the left side.
- Why don't some scores show the time?
Players that choose to enter their scores using score codes will not have their time recorded. - Can I display my score on my own website / blog?
Yes! Use the following HTML to display your score: <img src="http://dcsquares.c99.org/logo/USERNAME.png">, and replace "USERNAME" with your DCSquares Online username.
